Laughter is the best medicine they say! Being happy and being able to smile creates an instant attraction and gives you self confidence.
Welcome to this website. Here you will find many photos, testimonials and other information about dentistry and dental technology.
Designer Smiles is a concept used to describe teeth that have been altered or reshaped by using ceramic veneers or crowns.
Technology allows dentists to change peoples smiles. Tooth colour, size and shape of teeth can be altered to a more pleasing and symmetrical appearance.
Dental technologists and dentists work in a close relationship to achieve the desired outcome.
The ceramic crowns or "new teeth" are sculpted by hand, very similar to pieces of jewellery. The ceramic work on this site (see photo gallery) has been crafted by Michael Teiniker.
Patients on this site have either seen dentists contracted by Designer Smiles Ltd. or other dentists throughout New Zealand.
Should you be interested to have a DesignerSmile™ crafted, please click on the link below and we'll be happy to give you a quotation.
DesignerSmiles™ works in close collaboration with selected cosmetic dentists and selected dental technologists to achieve this result.
a Dental Technologist/ ceramist do?

Welcome! Most porcelain crowns
and veneers on this site were designed by Michael Teiniker (dental
technologist) and his twin brother Wolfgang Teiniker (clinical
dental technologist). They are firm believers that dental
technologists/ceramists have a crucial role to play in cosmetic
dentistry. The art of recreating a smile requires an extensive
knowledge of tooth shade, colour and form and also requires the
ability to handcraft "teeth" out of porcelain. Each crown is a tiny
porcelain sculpture-"a little work of art". It is their conclusion
that patients should consult with dental ceramists in order to
improve the final product. This direct communication with the artist
is essential in order to attain the desired outcome!!
