Hi there. You have expressed yourself very well in your text and you need to forward this message to your service provider, so that he/she will know how you feel. The complaint will then be added to your dental records in case you need to take it further. He/she will then have to respond to you in writing within a couple of days in order to rectify your complaint. Make sure to add the question:"What are the complaints procedures", to your text, because he/she will have to tell you specifically what you can do. Your dentist may choose to do the following: 1. Redo your teeth for free. 2. Reject your complaint, because you have given informed consent to have the work fitted permanently. (Either verbally or in writing) 3. Refer you to a specialist 4. Refund your money. 5. Or something else.
On a technical note- B1 is the lightest shade on the old Vita shade guide. The newer shade guide called Vita 3D master, has lighter shades, such as 1M1 or bleach white OM1, OM2, OM3, which may have lightened your teeth. Remember that veneers are thin, sometimes 0.4mm and if your teeth are dark, the colour WILL transmit through the veneers. Should this occur, more opaque porcelain has to be used to block out the colour, alternatively crowns have to be used. When veneers are placed next to crowns, the outcome is very unpredictable. For instance, if a B1 is chosen for two crowns and two veneers, the crowns will remain a B1 on cementation, but the veneers will change in colour. To overcome this, one has to choose the colour of the crowns after try-in or cementation of the veneers or else a stump shade has to be selected, so that the ceramist can anticipate the change of colour. Your teeth are buck, probably because the teeth have not been filed down enough, or the ceramist has built up bulky teeth.
