Hi! You have an upper denture to replace those missing molars. That can be uncomfortable! If you have an acrylic partial with a thick plastic palate that covers the roof of your mouth, then tasting food and chewing will be limited. A well-designed, thin metal-framed partial with minimal palatal coverage, can improve taste, speech, chewing etc. If you don't want a partial denture, you may opt for tooth implants and if you are a suitable candidate for implants, you will end up with a fixed bridge or individual crowns. This is probably the best solution, but the treatment will cost more than any other alternatives. You can register online and we’ll call you for a free smile consultation. www.e-dental.co.nz/reg.asp.
