Hi Marcus. If the tooth is intakt, we can try and bleach it internally. This means that a hole is made from the back of the tooth and a bleaching agent is inserted into the cavity. Once the desired shade has been obtained, the hole is closed up with a composite filling material. This works, but in some instances your tooth can become weak and brittle. The other way to fix your tooth is by grinding it down into a peg shape and placing a crown over it. Your tooth may also require a root filling. You may be able to get a portion of it paid by the ACC. We can fill out the application forms if you like. Please register online or call us to make an appointment. regards Michael. |
