Hi. Thanks for your question. A whole mouth makeover can be a combination of bleaching, veneers, implants, gum surgery, root canal treatments, orthodontics, crowns, denture work etc. Every patient is different and it all depends on the dental treatment plan drawn up by the dentist. Every clinician has their own ideas, which changes the overall cost structure. For instance; Some patients have badly worn teeth and their jaws are overclosed as a result. This creates an aged look. The clinician may choose to crown every tooth to raise the bite, others may choose to keep the same bite. The difference in costs are extreme. Some dentists may choose to do implant bridges to replace teeth, instead of implant dentures. The costs vary significantly. Having every tooth crowned is not uncommon amongst the fortunate few that can afford it. I guess having white, straight teeth is a status symbol. Twenty eight "lava" crowns may cost approx. $40k. However, it is not always necessary to crown every tooth. Sometimes a few changes can create an entire makeover. Please contact me if you are considering a makeover. Regards Michael. |
